China International Import Expo

The China International Import Expo, hosted by the Ministry of Commerce of the People's Republic of China and the Shanghai Municipal People's Government, is a national exhibition on the theme of imports in the world, aiming to firmly support trade liberalization and economic globalization and actively open markets to the world. The fair attracted more than 1,000 exhibitors from 58 countries along the Belt and Road, which will be another important support for the construction of the Belt and Road. In May 2017, the President announced at the Belt and Road Forum on International Cooperation that China will host the China International Import Expo from 2018.
